NFSU2 Car List
The NFSU2 car list below covers the regular cars of Need for Speed Underground 2: model year, drivetrain, stock power and the Career level at which each car becomes available. Unlike the first Underground game, NFSU2 is not only tuners. It adds a couple of muscle cars and three SUVs, which you can try in the NFSU2 browser game.
All regular cars and when they unlock
Cars marked Start are available from the beginning: the Focus, the Civic, the Miata, the 240SX, the Corolla, the Peugeot 206, and the Peugeot 106 or Vauxhall Corsa depending on your region. The rest unlock as you move through Career. The table lists the cars in alphabetical order, with the unlock level in the last column.

The Opel Corsa 1.8 sold in Germany is the same slot as the Vauxhall Corsa. Power is the stock figure from a cheat site, so it is a rough guide, and parts change it in your garage.
NFSU2 sponsor cars
Four extra cars come from sponsor cheat codes: a Chingy Lincoln Navigator, a Capone Hummer H2, a D3 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX and a ShineStreet Lexus IS 300. They keep stock performance and only run in Quick Race. The codes are on the NFSU2 cheats page.
NFSU2 car list and garage slots
The garage holds up to five cars. In Career your first car is paid for by insurance after the story opens with the wreck of your Nissan Skyline GT-R, and the sponsor contracts bring the other four. Because mod files cannot be installed in the browser version, the cars you can drive here are the ones in this list. See NFSU2 mods for why.
Frequently asked questions
How many cars are in NFSU2?
The community wiki lists 32 regular cars, some of them only in one region, plus four sponsor cars that you unlock with codes. The game files used by this browser version contain the model folders for those cars, including the North American and European ones.
How do I unlock more NFSU2 cars?
Cars unlock as you progress through Career levels, and the table shows the level for each one. A few cars are available from the start. Your garage holds up to five cars, and sponsors pay for four of them through contracts.
Are the horsepower numbers exact?
No. They are the stock figures that a cheat site lists for each car, kept here as a rough guide to how the cars compare. Parts change the real numbers.
